ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop @ STAMPlorations

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Hello everyone! It's that fun time blog hop again at STAMPlorations and this time we bring you our very own talented lady in our design team, Sanna Lippert who joins STAMPlorations stencil designer and designed fabulous stencils for you to use and enjoy in your own creations.
Don't they look gorgeous?
I can't help falling in love with the gorgeous stencils Sanna has designed.
The day I received the stencils from Sherry Russ, I knew exactly what to create.
Here they are:
As for these artist trading cards below, I used Trees 1 stencil to make some random patterns using modeling paste. You can check out how I applied tea bag sachets for the background
As for these artist trading cards, I used Leaves 1 stencil. Firstly I applied modeling paste through the stencil and let dry before I outline the leaves with black gel pen for interest.

~~~ooOOoo~~~
I am so excited to hear your comments about Sanna Lippert Designs either here or at STAMPlorations blog. Nevertheless I am thankful with the love you leave behind on both blogs and thank you so much for taking the time to hop.
All the best of luck to each and everyone of you.
Just in case I have not able to approve your comment yet, that is because I am travelling back to my hometown as you read me right now. My family and I will reach Melaka tomorrow.
Advance thank you to you if you also decided to follow my blog while hopping.
I shall get in touch with you again.
Have a good day and enjoy hopping.
TAGs @ STAMPlorations
{My DT work for STAMPlorations}
Happy Tuesday everyone. I have been busy since Sunday trimming the ivy over my front fence and pulling weeds. I love the trimming part but really hate the weeding part. The job has to be done anyway so no complaining eh {smile}. Wonder what you have been up to in your part of the world? Mind sharing?
Altered Pizza Box @ STAMPlorations
{My DT work for STAMPlorations}
Hello friends! Happy Sunday and hope today is bright and happy.
I'm back again with an altered project designed for STAMPlorations Sunday Stencil.
I used pizza box to decorate a mixed media element using products from STAMPlorations.
I usually used bold and vintage colors in my projects and this time I decided to use subtle colors for a change.
I have a lot of close-up pictures to share with you. Please enjoy...
 Yes you guessed right. I used tissue serviette of roses to adhere on the box surface with clear gesso for extra element and texture.
 I used butterfly and sentiment stamps from trendy butterflies #2 stamp set that is available at the store.
 I lightly gesso'd the roses and after it is dried, I highlighted the roses with brown watercolor pencil.
Forest of leaves design seems perfect to decorate the corners so I applied modeling paste through the stencil for random leaves pattern.
One of my favorite STAMPlorations stencils is crisscrossed. Its diamond shape is so attractive and to achieve this design, I simply dab brown ink pad over the stencil to form diamond patterns.
 Overall the subtle colors gives me much satisfaction when I finished the project.
More behind the scene shots:
 I used Rangers ink to highlight the edges.
 The inside is simply covered with patterned papers after I painted the box with white paint.
 I used brown card stock to cover up the back part.
 And here's the box once again:
I hope you get some inspirations to upcycle and altered whatever you find interesting and usable in your house.
Last but not least, I wish to play along in these challenges:
1. Scrapki Wyzwaniowo : Hexagons
Until then. Thank you for dropping by and see you soon.
For The Guys {Mid-Challenge Reminder} @ DS4J
{My DT work for DS4J}
Greetings from a cold atmosphere! The rain season will continue until year ends that will give my garden much happiness without me when we are away for vacation for some five weeks. I'm so looking forward to returning to my hometown and spend time with my beloved mom. I'm bringing home a pot of rose for her and hopefully it will flower while I'm at mom's place. I'm also looking forward to visit my dear father's graveyard. Lots of plans during our vacation. Meanwhile I have started spring cleaning and getting rid a lot of boxes yesterday. I still have one spot to de-clutter this weekend. Here's hoping for more energy, lol.
It's just unbelievable that 2017 will soon bid us farewell seeing that today is already middle November. Time flies eh. Without further ado, let me take you to this day happening at Digistamps4Joy. We bring you new inspirations for this month's challenge hosted by Desire Fourie. The theme is Anything Goes as always and Desire has chosen an optional twist "For The Guys" if you wish to create a masculine card.
I simply played with watercolors to create this clean and simple card:
 I used Cape Canary digital stamp that is available at DS4J shop.
The sentiment is from Ginger's House.
 That's it for today. I hope you will play along with us in this month's challenge. You could be the winner and win digi stamps from Margy the owner.
Thank you for dropping by and always remember that God is always with you.
Hugs and smiles,
Be Grateful @ STAMPlorations
{My DT work for STAMPlorations}
Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm here to share my tag as part of my design team project made for STAMPlorations newest challenge. We named it TAGplorations challenge and all we want to see is your tag/s alone or tag/s in any type of your creations. We offer you a theme
this November ~ All About Gratitude and optional twist is polka dots. If you wish to have dots all over your project/s, go ahead but if you wish not to, that's okay {smile}.
I made a less is more tag to inspire you to create your tag and play along with us.
 For this quick and easy tag, I used my sizzix machine to cut two different sizes from luggage tags nesting dies. The larger size  measures 3x5 inches cut on dark brown card stock and the middle one is 2 1/2 x 4 1/16 inches cut on light brown card stock with polka dots design.
Other products are also available at CUTplorations if you are hunting for some dies for your projects.
I stamped trendy butterflies for the sentiment above and after stamping the butterfly on scripture patterned paper, I decided to cut the wings into half and adhered part of it on the homemade clear gesso background to symbolize one's shyness who is afraid to go all out most of the times just because the person likes to compare himself with others. On the other hand there is also certain people who likes to compare the person with others and make him down. Thus he shuts himself down from the rest of the world.
 Hence the alpha letters from my stamps collection were used to spell Be Grateful. This is to let the person knows no matter how bad the circumstances is, he must never hide himself and continue to be grateful.
Nevertheless it's up to the person if he choose to hide his wings but will that help himself on the whole and others in the long run? Only he can answer. Personally speaking, life is short and there are so many positive things out there to explore and for me to embrace life is by exploring and sharing. There's no point staying shy and be afraid of. It's just a matter of ask when things go wrong. There's always someone out there to help.
Lastly I splatter white paint for additional interest and air dry.
~~~ooOOoo~~~
I look forward to see your creation/s at Mr. Linky and don't forget to add the graphic below in your blog post.
That's it for today.
Thank you so much for dropping by. See you when I see you.

Mixed Media Art Journal @ STAMPlorations

{My DT work for STAMPlorations}

Happy Sunday friends! Wishing you well over the weekend and may your tomorrow be filled with blessings and joy.
I am back again today bringing you my art journal as part of my design team work for STAMPlorations and today is the start of a new mixed media challenge that runs the entire month. My teammates have created amazing projects to inspire you to create mixed media project and hopefully you will play along with us. No card please but anything else is just superb with one main element must be used: any kind of stencil/s {smile}.

I created a combination of elements in my art journal using stencils and stamps products that are available here.
Some close-up pictures:
 I stamped a cup of roses directly on the gesso-ed pages. I also made masking to stamp more roses on top of each other so they look like a bed of roses. I even welcome trendy butterflies to my little garden of roses so the flying creatures can enjoy nature at its best.
 For texture and random patterns, I swiped modeling paste through delicate links and circular two stencils. I loved how the two settled perfectly on the pages and let dry naturally.
 I wanted additional interest at the corners so I adhered a ply of serviette tissue with homemade clear gesso.
 Lastly I splatter black paint once the chosen watercolors which I let drip and run on the surface dried completely.
I'm pretty excited to read your comments on my art work this time. Hopefully this project gives you an inspiration to create something sweet.

~~~ooOOoo~~~
Do join us at November Mixed Media Challenge and don't forget to include this graphic below in your blog post to be eligible for the prize if you are the winner.
{My DT work for MHKDesigns}
Hello friends! I'm so excited to share with you a dt project I did for MHKDesigns November challenge and this is the final challenge this year.
The designers have created beautiful projects to feast your eyes and hopefully you are inspired to play along with us before the month end.
I made two tags with combination of digital stamps and some mixed media elements:
 Some up-close pictures:
The flower image and sentiments are from funky foliage and growing goodness digistamp sets.
 I printed a frame image from heaven heals and cut it into two pieces and glue them down.
 Are you inspired to play along with us?
You don't have to use the holiday theme this month as in the graphic below if you use any digi stamp set from MHKDesigns though.
 That's it for today. See you at Mr. Linky soon
Thank you for dropping by and I truly appreciate your visit this time.
Fill up you November with lots of fun and happiness.
